Scott Big Ed Fat Bike

Scott Big Ed Fat Bike

After something a little different? check out the latest bike to hit our store, the Scott Big Ed Fat Bike. Big by name, certainly big by nature. Ironically has a similar name to our shop (I prefer two d’s) and is in our choice of colours black and green (with a touch of blue admittedly). There is no doubting the sheer size of this machine, the tyres alone are 4.5 inches wide. It is built with the ever reliable products of SRAM and Shimano for its drivetrain and braking systems.

180mm front and 160mm rear rotors help to stop this beast of a machine.

Looking at it you’d think this is going to be a heavy machine – ok its no carbon road bike but at 15kg it’s not at all heavy.

More detailed specification, geometry and size chart can be found here:

We feel that Scott say it better than most with this…

Say hello to Big Ed, our all new Fat Bike. He is equipped with a light custom butted alloy frame, a Rock Shox Bluto RL Fork, and an optimized 2×10 drivetrain. Big Ed was born for the dirt, the dunes, snow and most of all, the pub at the end of the day.

If you want a bike to stand out from the crowd and like a little bit of attention then this could well be the bike for you.

It has also got to be mentioned that a bike like this probably does not cost as much as you may think…. £1,999 gets you on the seat of this awesome piece of machinery.

We will post some of our own pictures of this beast online soon, unless someone buys it first ……..
